SV Porpoise History

Soulational2.0-148Porpoise is a Force 50—a strong, traditional seagoing ketch originally designed in the 1940s. Some people have called these boats “China Clippers”. Many versions were developed into the 1960s as successful shoal draft cruisers. The technology of the 1970s brought about a re-design incorporating the advantages of fiberglass as a hull material while still retaining the wooden deck and traditional gleaming teak interior.
